Welcome to my website. My name is Simon Shard and I have a capable workshop set up on the edge of Crewkerne. I am a one man operation which enables me to keep to a high level of workmanship and gives me the flexibility I enjoy.

I trained at the Lyme Regis boat building academy, where I awarded a mark of distinction upon completion, and have taken these skills on and now apply them in a broad range of woodworking. I do not specialise in any one area but prefer to tackle a wider range and so keep my work varied and interesting.

I am able to consider all work in any hard or softwoods, anything in wood at all! I enjoy more bespoke and unusual jobs so if you have something in mind but would not know who to contact then why not give me a try.
